Star OT for Kids is a trauma-informed paediatric OT service that builds the capacity and skills of parents/caregivers, education staff and other OTs.

We believe that by supporting those who support children, we can create a ripple effect of positive change in the lives of children, families, and their communities.

funding

We offer the following funding options for trauma informed OT assessments: 

  • Private Fee for Service - self funded by individuals or organisations
  • Private Health Insurance - to determine eligibility, contact your private health insurance as this may depend on your type of cover. Allied health services are usually included under ‘extras’.
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - we provide assessments for children 12 years and under with an NDIS plan that is self-managed or plan-managed. We are not an NDIA / agency registered provider.

A comprehensive assessment can take 5-10 hours to complete, which includes face to face sessions, scoring of assessments, observations and report writing). Travel is an additional fee and the price will depend on location. 


For workshops, professional development and clinical supervision please contact us via email for a quote/pricing. 

LOCATION

Assessment sessions can be offered in our clinic space in South Geelong, at your home, your child's school/kinder or via Telehealth. The most suitable location will be discussed at the time of booking.


Workshops, professional development and clinical supervision can be offered in person or online depending on location.
